Some of the major tasks consist of, but are not limited to the following:

  • Contact escrow/title officers to address concerns regarding title issues. Identify key risk factors regarding exceptions and agreements of record that may surface in preliminary title reports.
  • Compile required financial and collateral documentation for various loan types.
  • Request, compile and review various legal entity borrowing structures such as Corp., LLC, LP, Partnerships etc.
  • Obtain and review various reports, such as personal and business credit reports, flood and environmental reports, evidence of hazard, liability, and business personal insurance, and UCC searches. Identify risks and notify Relationship Manager and Underwriter as appropriate.
  • Ensure all related compliance concerns for Income Property lending, including, but not limited to Reg B monitoring, Withdrawn and Declined Procedures, and other rules and regulations associated with lending functions.
  • Work with Relationship Manager(s), Underwriter(s), Loan Operations and other third parties to address issues, obtain required information and documentation through funding for a successful close.

In addition to the above, I am tasked with assisting the Financial Analysts and underwriters with reviewing and imaging financials sent in, as well as assisting our Special Assets Manager with problem loans.

  • Board all types of commercial loans onto the Bank’s core system including new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications.
  • Perform loan file maintenance changes (monetary and non-monetary) on the Bank’s core system, as needed.
