• Handled a variety of roles and tasks, including maintaining a high level of product knowledge and knowledge of ongoing promotions to provide excellent customer service and drive sales, assisting in creating merchandising displays, and helping manage store operations by restocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean sales floor.

Worked and lived on-site, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to lodge guests as well as cleaning, maintaining, and refreshing cabins throughout the day. Tasks included managing large numbers of guests in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring their satisfaction as well as attention to detail while performing linen and laundry management, sanitizing and vacuuming cabins, removing waste, setting up the dining hall, and preparing coffee and toast for guests throughout the day.

• Spent the summer living and working at a camp while earning 300 volunteer hours. Ensured a safe and enjoyable experience while supervising 3 cabins of up to 6 campers of various ages and diverse backgrounds throughout the summer. Assisted in creating a positive experience for youth through involvement in a variety of programs and activities and working cooperatively with other staff.

• Worked at the theatre performing a variety of tasks including ushering, cleaning theatres and washrooms, performing routine checks in each theatre to ensure guest satisfaction, making food, cashiering, stocking and rotating products, and scanning tickets at the entrance.

• Spent the summer living and working at a camp while earning 650 volunteer hours. Cleaned, set up, and served meals in a dining hall of up to 200 people, taught swimming lessons to campers, ran a variety of clubs, activities, and programs independently and with other staff, and provided care for children living in poverty ages 9-13 for periods of 10 days at a time.

• Stocked and rotated products, provided assistance to customers, ensured that the backrooms and aisles remained clean and organized, collaborated and problem-solved with customers, employees and managers.
