National Volunteer Week included organizing 3 virtual events catered to hundreds of participants, promotion of events, contracting of interpreters, and monitoring progress of events on a ongoing basis.
  • Contributed to the reviewing and editing of contractors reports on social purpose business, charity and non-profit organizations. Provided feedback, sought clarity on content and was able to explain reasons for comments and feedback.
  • Led the organization of Branch-Wide Knowledge Events from 2022-2023. This included drafting event topics, internal communication, organization of presenters, interpretation, drafting briefing notes, speaking points, and invitations, and payment of presenters. All deliverables were met by their respective deadline.
  • Member of the Indigenous Ally-ship Working Group, which is a platform to discuss how to support inclusiveness in policy and the work place.
  • Member of the Income Security and Social Development Awards Working Groups which designs and plans branch wide awards, ceremonies and a recognition program.
  • Member of the Workplace Management and Well-Being of Employees Committee.
  • Provided support and lead parts on the Treasury Board Submission Process for the $400,000 allocation of funds to Volunteer Canada per the 2024 Federal Budget Announcement. Contributed content, feedback and deliverables to various internal government stakeholders alongside colleagues.
