Madhav Shandal

While in middle school, I worked as a student-assistant coach from grades 6 through 8. I assisted in coaching the boys floor hockey, volleyball, soccer, and basketball teams. I've always had a strong interest in sports, and have been fortunate to have had really good mentors to guide me whenever I needed it. I want to pass on my knowledge of sports and help kids get better by offering advice to improve their skills.

In addition, I currently work in a customer service role for a company who specializes in ethnic greeting cards. I handle inquiries and complaints from customers regarding the quality of the items or service and perform deliveries. With this job I am required to manage and balance my time between work and attending university full time.

Last but not least, I have previous experience participating in the most recent NDP Federal election campaign. This job involved making phone calls and conducting door-to-door canvassing to convince people to vote for the NDP during the 2022 election. This experience grew my communication and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate to all ages and backgrounds.
