While in both high school and university, I was a conscientious student, working well with others and regularly receiving A’s and B’s in my classes.
I have worked various jobs in my working history, such as retail as a salesperson, a front desk greeter, restaurants as a cook, and a general worker at mcdonald’s and Pistol Pete’s. These various jobs have given me a varied skill set which will allow me to fill any role in the service industry like a glove.
Pistol Pete’s is a travelling ribfest team
Travelled across Newbrunswick, and Nova Scotia, and even into Quebec and around Toronto.
Assisted in packing and unpacking the travel trailer
In any given day I would be expected to cook, clean, split wood, talk to customers, prepare food out back for sale at the front, clean dishes, and above all remain calm and co-operate with various personalities during a stressful and busy weekend.
As a back of house worker I would prepare and assemble the various products mcdonald’s has to offer. This would include operating the deep fryers, the grills, and operating in an assembly line. Often times during rushes I would be tasked with running between stations to keep the back of house running mostly on my own.
I would also be expected to keep my station clean, sweep and mop, and on occasion wash dishes.
Throughout all of the above, calm co-operation with managers and co-workers was of the utmost importance.
