Research Project: Bridge2AI-Voice as a Biomarker of Health (NIH Funded)

• Responsible for coordinating and managing the research project in Canada, investigating Voice as a biomarker of health (Bridge2AI-Voice Consortium).
• Holding regular meetings with the Principal Investigator(s) and research study team to ensure effective communication and monitor project progress.
• Developing study protocols, questionnaires, data forms, and other materials to ensure a comprehensive and high-quality research process.
Conducting literature reviews, submitting grant applications, manuscripts, and reports to promote the project's goals and contribute to scientific knowledge in the field.
• Conducting data analysis and disseminating findings to relevant stakeholders, contributing to the advancement of health biomarker research.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring compliance with funding requirements to optimize the use of available resources.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant institutions/hospitals, universities, and funding agencies to promote collaboration and sustainability of the project.

Research Project: Implementation of Serological, Molecular, and Genetic tools for COVID-19 patient management (GENCOV)
• Responsible for identifying pathogenic variants in the cohort - perform genome data analysis
• Perform CNV analysis
• Perform Genome Data Analysis using Python programming

• Analyzed Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data using Integrative Genomics Viewer (IGV) and interpreted findings using ACMG classification and HGVS nomenclature
• Involved in scientific discussion/presentations with team
• Performed internal audits with adherence to College of American Pathologists (CAP) audit process and other regulatory requirements
• Involved in training and onboarding of new members of team and did quality check of reports of peers
• Interacted with bioinformatics and laboratory team in analysis and interpretation of genetic data
• Created spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Adhered to turnaround time of test reports assigned and efficiently communicated across teams
• Used coordination and planning skills to achieve results according to schedule
• Performed database navigation using tools like ClinVar, OMIM, gnomAD, HGMD, VarSEAK and conducted thorough literature review to collect evidence for variant classification
• Applied ACMG criteria to classify variants and created high-quality variant interpretation report.
