Operate pump trucks, load holes with electric detonators and boosters. Hand load pre-shear patterns designed to fracture rock on final wall. Tie in electric and non electric blast patterns. Safely deal with explosives that failed to detonate with a blast.

Responsible for moving electric shovels and drills powered by 4160kv or 7200kv cables clear of blast areas, into new dig headings or patterns, and out of the pit for maintenance. Move electric equipment on hard power, powered by mobile generator, or with a low bed. Planned efficient moves with minimal disruption to operations.

Operate Komatsu and Cat loaders loading rock trucks and maintaining the pit. Vast experience in Cat rock trucks from 30- 240 ton models. Hauled to crushers, dumps, established drill patterns and spread for graders. Ran various water trucks used for dust suppression.

Respond to fires, accidents, injured persons and any other emergency situation. Attend classroom/ field training for practice and updates as required by mines code. Level 1 first aid with packaging and transport endorsement.

Packed Molybdenum into 1500kg bags and loaded onto highway trucks. General clean up and maintenance around the mill. Monitoring crushers, floats and conveyor systems for malfunctions. Snow removal and sand spreading on all walk ways and parking lots.
