• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and feeding.
• Utilizing POC to document care that is provided to residents.

· Managing wounds for abdominal hernias or coccyx, including dressing changes, wound assessment, and infection prevention

· Administering medications prescribed by the physician such as medications to control blood pressure and blood sugars and for pain.

· Conducting initial assessments of residents, including taking vital signs, assessing symptoms, obtaining medical history

· Conducting initial assessments of patients post-operation, including obtaining medical history, assessing musculoskeletal, and cardiac and identifying areas of concern.

· Administering medications prescribed by the physician, such as pain medications, anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. Administering IV medication under supervision.

· Gastrostomy tube medication administration under supervision.

· Assisting patients with activities of daily living such as exercise by walking down the hallway and to their bed and toileting.

· Continuously monitoring patient's vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation levels.

· Administer PO medication with supervision.

· Complied with policies and procedures when providing care.

· Research on resident's Care Plan and Nursing interventions.

· Implementing infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections within the healthcare facility, including proper hand hygiene, isolation precautions and environmental cleaning.
