Northern Lights / Fitness Depot is a manufacturing, warehouse and retail company where my responsibilities included management of a five member IT department, reporting to owner as well as the day-to-day IT activities that included but were not limited to:

• Design, install, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WiFi and VoIP systems
• Provide 24/7 support to 300+ users in head office and 35 remote locations across Canada and the US
• Supported Microsoft Office 97 to Office 365
• Design, create and maintain user friendly applications utilizing Microsoft Access database connections
• Design, build and maintain on site server farm, on site Virtual servers, cloud servers with Windows NT, Server 2000, 2012 and end user PC's using Windows XP, 7,10,11
• Implement and migrate multiple POS systems
• Migrate and manage transition from onsite Exchange email server to cloud based Office 365 for 300+ users
• Troubleshoot and correct printer, network, software, hardware, wiring and PC issues on robot welders and laser cutting machines,
• Develop, generate and automate of daily accounting, inventory and sales evaluation reports via Excel, Word and Access database VBA automation
• Research, document and implement solutions to resolve any IT issues or suggestions that employees and/or ownership may have
• Interview and hire department employees
• Research and procure new hardware and software solutions
• Implement network wide virus and firewall protection
• Maintain daily cloud based data backup service

Entry level IT position responsible for:

• Printer and fax support i.e. toner, paper jams
• Developed MRP system utilizing Microsoft Access
