Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptualize, develop and recommend performance management initiatives and strategies for implementation.

2. Develop and conduct targeted training programs to ensure the successful application and execution of the performance appraisal process at various level.

3. Stakeholder management and interaction.

4. Align performance objectives with relevant departmental and organizational goals.

5. Prepare data reports for the Senior Administrative Officer, to be used by the Director, Operations.

6. Train new staff and coordinate activities of subordinate staff.

7. Prepare ad hoc or special reports as and when required/directed by Senior Administrative Officer.

Accomplishments

1. Devised and facilitated the implementation of an internal system for mid-term performance appraisal review within the Operations Division.

2. Conducted over fifty (50) training sessions within Operations that sensitized and equipped supervisors and employees with the knowledge and skills required to properly conduct employee performance appraisals.

3. Co-led a team that successfully standardized and streamlined performance objectives for twelve (12) key areas within Operations.

4. Recommended and assisted in the establishment of an effective working partnership between the Performance Management and Industrial Relations personnel to prevent dispute in the unionized environment, resulting in a series of training programs and the establishment of advocacy services.
