4W Trauma/Neurosurgery/ENT PCU

• Provide high quality patient care to trauma, neurosurgery and post surgical patients
• Delivering care to patients with a wide range of acute conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, major traumas, alcohol withdrawal, drug withdrawal and exacerbations of chronic conditions comorbidities
• Management of chest tubes, post surgical drains, artificial airways. etc and continued monitoring for complications or changes in assessment with timely intervention with the interdisciplinary team
• Support the transition of critically ill patients from the emergency department and intensive care unit ensuring seamless handoffs, continuity of care, and providing education and emotional support to patients and family members

• Responsible for medication administration and vaccinations within the adult and pediatric patient population
• Well versed in sterile protocols and assisting in patient basic procedures
• Well adapted to working with various providers across multiple subspecialties of medicine to include: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Musckoskeltal clinics.
