I was selected as a member for two consecutive cohorts, which is the the maximum allowed for this club. During my membership, I successfully completed two veneer cases, overseeing the entire process from preparation and scanning to temporizing, designing, and bonding the final restoration. This experience sharpened my technical skills in cosmetic dentistry and deepened my appreciation for the critical role of the design process.

I oversee the club's finances, managing budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and transparent operations. I allocate funds for workshops, guest lectures, and equipment, optimizing resources to enhance members' learning experiences in digital dentistry. I also assist fellow cabinet members with tasks and projects, fostering teamwork and supporting the successful execution of club initiatives and events.

As part of this research team, I help collect and analyze data using quantitative and qualitative methods including surveys, interviews, and clinical assessments to evaluate the durability of a new resin material for nightguard fabrication. I hep coordinate efforts with faculty to ensure rigorous data analysis and interpretation, while ensuring compliance with IRB guidelines, maintaining participant confidentiality, and securing informed consent throughout the study.

As an HSDA tutor, I help organize and facilitate small group tutoring sessions for pre-clinical courses, providing personalized support to club members. I take pride in tracking students' progress and contributing to their academic growth, ensuring a strong foundation for their clinical years.

I serve as a role model for members in the Latinx Pre-Dental Society at UCLA, offering personalized guidance and support to UCLA college students interested in dentistry. I assist mentees throughout the application process by conducting mock interviews and reviewing personal statements to help them strengthen their submissions.

I assist the co-president with daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to cabinet members, ensuring smooth and efficient club operations. I organize workshops, guest lectures, and hands-on training sessions, facilitating club meetings that enhance members' expertise and knowledge in cosmetic dentistry.

I lead fundraising initiatives and build partnerships to secure sponsorships, boosting financial resources for workshops and student initiatives. I create detailed budgets for club activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, I assist with administrative tasks, such as brainstorming meeting topics and communicating with club members, to ensure smooth operations.

I support the president with daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to cabinet members, ensuring smooth and efficient club operations. I organize professional development activities, including guest lectures and networking events, to enhance members' understanding of dental practice and the realities of the field outside of school. I also help plan social events to foster camaraderie and strengthen connections among members, creating a supportive community within the club.

I organize and manage social events and activities to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among classmates. Acting as a liaison between students and class cabinet members, I effectively communicate class needs and coordinate logistics for gatherings and events. I also collaborate with social chairs in the classes below to create mentorship opportunities and ensure a supportive environment across all levels.

I assist in leading the planning and coordination of ASB orientation events, ensuring smooth execution and a positive experience for incoming students. I collaborate closely with committee members to delegate tasks effectively, foster teamwork, and ensure all aspects of the orientation program are well-organized. Additionally, I provide guidance and support to incoming students, addressing their questions and helping them navigate their transition into dental school.

I helped organize clinical tutoring sessions for first-year dental students and attended these sessions to assist students seeking help. I monitored their progress and provided feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.

As a site leader, I supervised campers and staff, communicated regularly with supervisors and parents, and trained new staff members. I attended monthly staff meetings and bi-monthly site leader meetings focused on professional development and leadership training. Additionally, I mediated camper conflicts and developed effective conflict resolution strategies. This role allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills while gaining valuable experience working with a diverse group, similar to my future patient clientele.

As a research assistant on Dr. Machons team, my peers and I had the freedom to analyze data collected from the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) Youth Cultures survey and developed guiding questions. My responsibilities consisted of finding supporting articles, contributing to our research paper and poster, and attending weekly meetings. My team and I presented our research on "The Importance of Parent-Child Relations on a Child's Well Being" at the Undergraduate Research Symposium at LMU and the Association for Psychological Science (APS) convention in San Francisco.

Being a waitress challenged me to be successful in a fast paced environment while ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction. It was my responsibility to address and resolve customer concerns and complaints, exhibit excellent hospitality skills, multitask, and utilize conversational Spanish to communicate with customers. Over the years I assumed more of a leadership position and helped with scheduling and supervision of workers, restaurant maintenance, and training new staff members.

Assisted the dentist and hygienist with daily tasks, including setting up and breaking down dental chairs and sterilizing equipment. I ensured patient confidentiality at all times and accurately entered clinical and personal data into the computer. This experience enhanced my attention to detail, reinforced my understanding of clinical procedures, and strengthened my ability to maintain a high standard of patient care.
