Key Responsibilities

• Delivering emergency nursing care for patients presenting with trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress and shock.
• Monitoring vital signs, performing ECGs and assisting in stabilizing critically ill patients.
• Applying nursing process, through critical thinking in acute care and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
• Administering medications and IV therapies including insulin, antibiotics and anticoagulants, ensuring patient safety and compliance with treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians to implement treatment plans and coordinate emergency surgeries.
• Providing wound care, suturing assistance and post-resuscitation monitoring.
• Assisting in code blue responses, CPR and advanced cardiac life support interventions.
• Educating patients and families on disease management, medication, fluid balance, diet and self-care to improve outcomes and lifestyle changes.
• Documenting care in EHR systems and adhering to protocols according to legal and ethical standards.
