Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As Crew Scheduling Officer I was mainly responsible for preparing Accurate schedules, monitor, and providing excellent customer service to the Pilots and Cabin Crew following contractual and regulatory rules
  • Ensuring adequate crewing of flights while maintaining the integrity of Spirit's flight schedule in the Operation Control Center (OCC)
  • Daily key Role as a flight crew scheduler including developing and communicating flight schedule changes to all related Operating crew
  • Handling Flight Crew complaints with empathy and composure
  • Answered calls, and respond to emails, and face-to-face queries, in addition, to acting as a focal point of all Flight Operations Movements
  • Other responsibilities include:
  • Determine and plan personnel capacity Plan and manage crew schedules
  • Determine and develop tasks, functions, and assignments for various individuals and groups of personnel
  • Manage the flight crews and record the amount of time each member works
  • Come up with a reserve list for redundancy to prepare for emergencies
  • Select replacements from the reserve list and notify them when they are needed
  • Manage the placement/schedules of dispatchers, flight attendants, and other personnel
  • Ensure compliance with various laws, regulations, and agreements when assigning personnel to tasks and shifts
  • Coordinate and validate the training of personnel in conjunction with the training department or HR department
  • Review and analyze reports, rescheduling history, and metrics on crews
