  • Collaborate with Indigenous Nations (elders, elected officials, staff, knowledge holders, etc.), families, social workers and service providers to facilitate meetings regarding child welfare.
  • Travel multiple times a year to many of the Indigenous communities primarily in the central and north-west portions of BC. For example: Saik’uz First Nation, Nadleh Whut’en, all six Wet’suwet’en Nations in the Burns Lake area, Takla Nation, Yekooche First Nation, and many more.
  • Facilitate between 150-200 meetings a year, not including individual orientations with parties' for specific meetings.
  • Build rapport with diverse groups by demonstrating empathy, active listening skills, and cultural competence.
  • Leading cross-functional teams in brainstorming sessions, driving innovation and creative problem-solving.
