I am a results-driven IT professional and Marine Corps veteran with a strong background in systems support, cybersecurity, and enterprise network operations. My experience ranges from serving as an Information Systems Coordinator and multimedia specialist in the Marine Corps to supporting MCTSSA and NMCI environments in my current roles. I hold industry certifications, including CompTIA Security+, and have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues while maintaining strict security standards. I adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and perform well under pressure, consistently delivering reliable IT support that keeps critical systems running and users mission-ready.
As a Senior IT Specialist supporting NMCI under Insight Global and Leidos, I provide advanced technical support for Navy and Marine Corps users across a large enterprise network. I troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues, manage user accounts and permissions, and ensure systems remain compliant with strict security standards. My role includes supporting NMCI environments, handling escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams, and working with enterprise tools to maintain system performance and reliability. I also assist with system imaging, software deployments, and incident resolution while maintaining detailed documentation and following ITIL-based processes.
As a Tier 1 Help Desk Analyst at MCTSSA, I provide frontline technical support for Marines and government personnel, ensuring mission-critical systems for C4I and C5ISR stay operational. I troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, resolve user access problems, and manage service tickets through timely and effective communication. My role includes supporting systems such as MCTIMS, GCSS-MC, ATAK, RHEL-8, SATCOM, JTCW, JBC-P, and other Marine Corps enterprise applications, while following established KBAs and security protocols.
I served nine years in the United States Marine Corps, where I built a strong foundation in both information technology and multimedia operations. Throughout my career, I worked as an Information System Coordinator, Server System Administrator, and Public Affairs Marine, supporting missions across North Africa and the CENTCOM area of responsibility. I deployed with the 22nd, 24th, and 26th Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs) and spent a total of two years at sea, gaining valuable shipboard experience while supporting operations in dynamic environments. I was responsible for managing servers, maintaining secure communication systems, and producing high quality photo and video content to document operations and tell the Marine Corps story. I also took on leadership roles, eventually serving as a Production Chief, where I led teams, managed large scale media projects, and ensured mission success under high pressure environments.
In addition, I served as an Engagement Chief and Web Master, where I was responsible for analyzing demographic data and audience behavior to improve communication strategies. I evaluated website performance, publications, and social media platforms, using real world events and market trends to guide messaging and content delivery. By managing data and applying analytical insights, I helped tailor messaging to reach a wider audience and increase engagement. This role strengthened my ability to combine technical skills with data driven decision making, allowing me to effectively align communication efforts with mission objectives.
