Project 1- Scotiabank enhanced its eStoreO platform by launching the eStore Common application, which allowed customers to apply for multiple financial products through a single, streamlined process. The first phase focuses on consumer loan products, with plans to include deposit products and business solutions by the end of 2023 and into 2024.
Project 2- Scotiabank launched Scotia TranXactTM – a digital payments platform that provides business banking clients with on-demand access to Scotiabank's payments and cash management Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). With Scotia TranXact business banking clients now have access to real-time payments, request-to-pay and account information services via APIs.
Project 3- Scotiabank launched of Scotia SelectPay, a new payment solution for eligible Scotiabank Visa credit cards that provides customers with the option to convert purchases made on their credit card into smaller installment payments.
Project 4- Scotia iTrade, Scotiabank’s self-directed investment brokerage, launched an enhanced version of its mobile trading ap. Project 1- Alberta’s financial institution launched a new app, the Brightside app which offers customers a way to start saving without switching banks since it connects directly to wherever Albertans already do their day-to-day banking. Customers can sign up for an account with a selfie, order a spend card and set up saving features, all within the app on their phone.
Project 2- A dashboard in the online banking that lets the client create multiple savings goal, give them a personalized name, target amount and target data. Basis the goal outlined by the client and their transaction history, the dashboard would show them their progress and a suggested saving schedule through numbers and visuals.
Project 3- ATB Alberta has launched a mobile wallet for virtual cards in collaboration with Mastercard and Extend. This new service, available to ATB Commercial Banking clients, allows businesses to create, distribute, and manage virtual cards via the Extend for the app. This functionality enables cardholders to make contactless payments easily in-store, online, and in-app, enhancing convenience and security.

Project 2- To help Canadians better manage their finances, Qtrade launched of its new Pre-Authorized Payments Manager on the Mobile Banking app. The digital banking feature provides an enhanced view of pre-authorized payments, including subscriptions attached to the credit card, to help customers better track how their money is being spent.
Project 3- Qtrade announced two new AI solutions to help accelerate the mortgage pre-approval customer experience along with the approval experience for customers applying for term life insurance. As part of commitment to ensuring customers continue to be at the core of its identity and purpose, the two new solutions help to deliver enhanced and more efficient service for some customers applying for mortgage pre-approvals at Qtrade and for the approval process for term life insurance applications at Qtrade.
