Hobbies

Growing up in the Kootenays, I was surrounded by the towering Monashee mountains. I lived in Rossland for 22 years 5 min away for the legendary Red Mountain Resort. There, skiing and mountain biking is part of the lifeblood that flows through the old mining towns that dot the landscape. Biking remained a casual hobby, however, after joining the local ski academy became a full time commitment. I competed in various ski competitions, traveled the U.S. and Canada up and down the west coast, and even managed to pick up some sponsorships deals as well.

Now, on the Island, I enjoy exploring a new landscape and discovering the trails that surround Campbell River and the slopes on Mt. Washington.
