Representative Project Experience

Water Resources Engineer: County of Renfrew, Sylvester Powers Bridge Replacement

Water Resources Engineer: County of Renfrew, Etmankie Culvert Replacement

Water Resources Engineer: County of Renfrew, Municipal Class EA addressing the deteriorating state of Broomes Creek Dam. As a modeler I developed a hydrologic HEC-HMS model for Broomes Creek Watershed to calculate flows for a hydraulic HEC-RAS model for steady state routing of watercourse and floodplain system. The results of hydraulic analysis were used to develop inundation mapping under two break dam scenarios, which included normal sunny day failure and flood flow failure.

Water Resources Engineer: Lead modeler for various Master Plan projects for settlements across Ontario including Jarvis and Caledonia in Haldimand County, the Town of Hawkesbury and the Town of Midland. The modeling for these Master Plans has included a mixture of storm, sanitary and/or combined systems.

Water Resources Engineer: Developed dual drainage analysis modeling of various urban areas across the City of Ottawa to assess the potential for street flooding, identify areas with sewer capacity limitation and provide solutions to improve drainage and alleviate flooding. The models were developed using 2D modeling capacity of PCSWMM software.

Water Resources Engineer: City of Bellville, Wastewater and Wet Weather Servicing Master Plan (Municipal Master Plan)

Water Resources Engineer: Town of Hawkesbury, Infrastructure Master Plan (Municipal Master Plan)

Water Resources Engineer: Haldimand County, Jarvis Mater Servicing Plan Update and Lagoon Class EA (Municipal Master Plan Schedule C Class EA)

Water Resources Engineer: Developed hydrological/hydraulic models using SWMHYMO, XPSWMM and PCSWMM in support of subdivision applications across the City of Ottawa. Also developed models in support of detailed design of stormwater management facilities throughout Ontario, such as wet ponds, dry ponds and wetlands.
