Undergraduate Research Project
Accurate Description of Beta-secretase 1 Active Site Using Computational Methods.
The main objective was to develop a computational approach to determine the active site of the BACE1 enzyme using chemoinformatic tools.
- Worked with several Cheminformatic tools to analyse proteins and ligands.
- Implemented helping functions using Python scripts for molecular analysis.
Achievements.
- Represented Sri Lankan national Chess team for Asian Youth Championships(2010, 2011), World Youth Chess championship(2012) and Asian Schools Chess championships (2007, 2009, 2013)
- Won international and national-level chess tournaments
