Developed a database that captures weekly sales data at both the block and item levels, compares it against team forecasts and historical averages, and delivers actionable insights for analysts. Reduced processing time by over 70% by integrating a user-friendly interface that centralizes information and enables direct uploads to the online forecasting database.
Distributed tens of millions of dollars’ worth of goods from multiple category teams (e.g., confectionery and sundries) to 1,000+ stores nationwide during seasonal events such as Christmas, Valentine’s, Halloween, summer, and back-to-school. Leveraged data-driven analysis of store/SKU-level historical sales to optimize allocations, significantly reducing opportunity costs and margin loss from unsold inventory.
Designed and developed multiple SQL scripts, Access databases, and Excel/VBA-based tools to support both my team and cross-functional teams in daily operations. Notably, created a VBA-driven Excel system for Janise’s team to streamline the SDM MOG form process, significantly reducing processing time and errors while improving inventory top-up efficiency across stores.
Enhanced existing databases; for example, upgraded the supply chain forecasting model by implementing new logic that generated more accurate DC splits, accounted for slow-moving items, and reduced processing time through a user-friendly interface that linked multiple databases online.
