- My duties with Hercules. Graveyard Shift, Loading and Unloading trailers using a sit-down forklift and pallet jack. Day shift, duties included loading bobtail trucks for local drivers. I learned how to move trailers with a yard goat. Trailers sizes from 28' to 53'. I began to familiarize myself with the routes of the drivers and duties of the LA Local Dispatch. In 2009 I became the Los Angeles Terminal Local LTL and FTL Dispatch. Duties included routing drivers, Customer Service, hoping in on a Bobtail truck when needed to make an emergency pickup, logging in drivers HOS (Hours of Service), and reporting SPH (Stops Per Hour) to our HR Department. Duties also include supervision of day warehouse crew and warehouse maintenance.
