• Once a year at my high school we used to do MUNs. This event was fully organized by the students and I got to participate not only in the preparations but also in its tenure. A few months before the MUN of my senior year I held practice classes for the MUN in order to teach the freshmen how it works; the specific terms we use, the different committees in action, etc... The day of the MUN people from other schools are invited to join us and we all incorporate the delegation of actual countries from the UN and we debate over modern topics depending on the committee.
• I have been class representative twice and that taught me how to stand for myself and other classmates, be attentive to my surroundings, speak up when someone's in need and overall helped me gain confidence in myself
• I tutored Spanish and French during my senior year of highschool.
