• Administering medications, Ensuring healthy condition of clients, Doing timely room checks as well as wellness checks, Administering naloxone in case of overdoses and so on
• Accompanying clients to their medical appointments, Banking services and shopping
• Organization camps for community education regarding De-addiction and Naloxone Training
• Participate in team efforts to maintain and continuously improve the intake, admissions and orientation process.
• Maintain client confidentiality and respond to client rights to health care information.
• Assess clients’ suitability for the program and makes referrals to other agencies when necessary.
• Work with the integrated addiction services team on clients’ case planning and concerns. Ask for assistance when required, communicating with case managers, social workers, probation services, etc. as required.
• Maintain accurate client records (e.g., assessment data, client care plan, goal setting, case notes and discharge summaries, behavior contracts, incident reports, medication logs, etc.).
• Act as a positive role model, coach, advisor, leader and rational authority for clients.
• Intake new clients and collaborate with other staff members to identify acute and chronic mental health problems faced by clients.
• Develop, individually and in consultation with the primary treatment providers, treatment plans and strategies to best meet client needs.

• Monitor and assess resident behaviors and client movement in and out of the building.
• Monitor curfews of residents returning to the Centre and Supportive Housing Programs.
• Observe and accurately document resident behavior utilizing concrete, factual descriptions.
• Report behaviors to supervisory staff that poses a risk to the resident, other residents, staff and/or the community.
• Engage with residents and ensure safety and expectations of the program agreement are being met.
• Support the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of all programming.
• Act as a positive role model for all residents. Promote effective social and interpersonal skills through tasks of healthy daily living and social activities.
• Contribute to maintaining a therapeutic environment to encourage awareness of inter-dependence of community members, and the value of responsible concern for self and others.
• Required to debrief with incoming shifts to ensure detailed transfer of information (e.g. concerns).
