Loaner & Consignment Tray Support

• Receive and inspect incoming loaner and consignment trays to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in verifying tray contents before and after sterilization according to standards and documentation.
• Partner with the Production Coordinator and SPD leadership to track trays throughout the sterilization and return cycle.
• Communicate promptly with vendors and teammates to ensure all trays are processed on schedule.

Production Workflow & Instrument Flow

• Support the daily production flow, helping prioritize workloads and meet operational deadlines.
• Identify and escalate issues or discrepancies related to tray contents, timing, or documentation.
• Maintain organized workspaces and support the overall efficiency of the SPD.

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with the Production Coordinator, SPD leadership, and team members to align on priorities and progress.
• Assist with vendor coordination, delivery confirmations, and documentation as needed.
• Represent Instrumentum’s standards of professionalism, reliability, and excellence in every interaction.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Accurately record data in tracking systems, ensuring traceability for all tray movements and sterilization records.
• Support quality assurance initiatives by maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvement in accuracy, turnaround time, or communication.

Assign, direct and review the work of 8-10 SPD staff members. Engaged in all

Sterile processing Services including but not limited to sterilizing, processing,

packaging and distributing trays and instruments to operating room and clinic

wards. Provide expert guidance, leadership, oversee and support to all staff

working in all areas. work schedules, adjust accordingly to workload and

staffing. Assist vendor with Loaner Link system, teach and educate staff in

system and will keep up with communication with multiple vendors to have

loaner trays delivered in a timely manner for scheduled surgeries and have

trays weighed, tagged and picture taken before beginning the processing of

sterilization .Implementing new workflow like the transport of soil items to

and from OR. Manage and maintain quality, verify all test have been ran for

the work flow of the day. Troubleshoot SPD machines and place work orders

through STERIS to ensure any equipment is up to maintenance. Manually
