Second year IR + MM dual degree candidate who is interested in International Political Economy of the Asia Pacific. Has a plethora of volunteering and leadership experience through clubs, non-profits and youth initiatives. Actively seeking to get more involved with politics and governance based groups, particularly with the International Relations student body at UBC. Hoping to bridge the gap between academia and the real world by organizing networking events and information sessions for students.
Icebreaker: An event where we set up booths in the Nest for our game departments to introduce the club to new students at UBC.
Our annual tournaments: Including Summer series, Winter series, Cascadia Cup, etc that require extensive room bookings.
Gaming EXPO: Our flagship event that encompasses tournaments, guest speakers, artist alleys, and various booths to engage our 500+ club members.
Boothing: Where I advertised our program and student association to other students in the Nest and first year residences.
Cocktails and Conversations: A social event purposed to connect students within the program from various faculties.
Generating Moment and Paving the Path: Our annual networking events where we invite professors, alumni, and industry professionals to speak to B+MM students.
