Capstone Project

Designed and implemented an automated parking management system using Arduino UNO, IR sensors, and a 20x4 LCD display to monitor parking space availability in real-time. Integrated IR sensors to detect vehicle presence in parking slots and at entrance/exit points, updating availability status on an LED display. Programmed a mini servo motor to control barrier gates for entry and exit, ensuring only permitted vehicles access the parking area. Developed a system block diagram, electrical drawings, and housing design for the project. Utilized skills in microcontroller programming, sensor integration, and real-time data processing to improve parking efficiency and reduce traffic congestion.
