Led a team of Public Health staff including registered nurses, public health inspectors, infection control nurses, infectious disease staff and administrative employees.

Recruited, interviewed and hired staff for all Public Health areas in the Sun Country region.

Completed evaluations, investigation and disciplinary actions for staff in the department.

Monitored time sheets and signed payroll for the department.

Worked closely with other regional managers during regional committee meetings.

Managed an external team during Covid to ensure negative results were called to people who were tested in the province.

Performed manager duties in LTC in Stoughton and Lampman. Assisted in Fillmore and Midale.

I have had a long career in nursing. I have worked in CCU, ICU, Hospice, Long Term Care, and education. I have worked as a staff nurse and as a manager. I have been a nurse since 1978. I retired in July of 2023 but feel I still have something to offer to patients and families.

Supervised Nursing, Lab, X-ray, Medical records and Activities in the LTC and Acute facilities.

Overall responsibility for the facility.

Responsible for a team of registered nurses who provided telephone education to clients.

Monitored calls and coached and supported staff to improve their success and accuracy on the calls.
