Volunteer work

25 years + of volunteering at various local events. Here are a few of my volunteer gigs ... while working full time at my job. I took vacation time to volunteer.

Started volunteering as a camp councilor with the church while in high school : 3 years.

Tall Ships volunteer : 6 years.

Highland Games : 4 years.

Stanfest Music Festival : at least 12 years.

East Coast Music Awards : 3 or 4 years.

Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race : 4 or 5 years.

2011 Halifax Canada Games.

Country Music Week.

Changing Of The Guard.

🌟 I signed up to volunteer for the 2024 Juno Awards and because of my past experience, Insight Productions ended up handing me a paying gig. I was responsible for keeping tabs on Charlotte Cardin's band members while they were here. That was an amazing experience.

Additional Information

I believe that being an Events Usher with The Scotia Bank Centre would be a good fit for me. I admire the folks doing that job. I'd love to be given the chance to find out more. I'm ready for a change.

Thank you for your consideration.
