Senior Lifeguard Training:

I have always had a passion for swimming and at the same time, being able to help someone. From the time of September 2021- June 2022 I was enrolled in a course led by swimming instructors and lifeguards employed by Strathcona County. I learned how to improve my swimming skills and at the same time, learn how to properly administer first aid and other emergency procedures. During the course, I learned how to deal with complaints with patrons at the swimming pool, and I also gained lots of experience in teamwork. At the end of all this training, I received my first aid certification, and my bronze cross for lifeguarding.
