Summary

When I found out that my brother had type 1 diabetes, I felt it was important to take the diabetes training at the Alberta Children's Hospital and help to care for his needs. I worked with the doctor, nurses, and dietician to learn about Type 1 diabetes and how to properly care for a child with the disease. I stay up to date on my training and continue to attend appointments and training. I help provide my brother with healthy meals, using my love of cooking.
