Bell attendant duties

• Carried out special requests from guests, delivering flowers and fruit baskets to rooms.
• Streamlined check-in and check-out processes by efficiently handling luggage storage and retrieval tasks.

Maintenance duties

• Providing reactive maintenance to hotel rooms to keep the guests satisfied.
• making sure all preventative maintenance is complete to try and prevent future mechanical and electrical failures.
• work in a team to keep the hotel running smooth and make sure nothing is effecting the day to day running of the hotel.
• Make sure all aesthetics of the hotel are up to scratch and touch up walls with paint.

• we would use heavy machinery such as front end loaders, skidsteers, forklifts to do out day to day tasks. these task consisted of digging holes so we could concrete in fence posts ready to hang the fencing. we would use the machinery to clear bush and level out areas of land where the perimeter fence would be getting put up.
• i would head out to sites to meet farmers on there land for them to show me where they wanted the fence boundaries so i could make notes before heading back with the team to complete the work.
• day to day tasks would be transferring the heavy machinery to site, digging holes, concreting fence posts in running wire and tensioning them,

• At sheridan lifts i ran my own contract stockport council which consisted of around 100 lifts a month. while running this contract i would deal with all minor repairs and all of the scheduled maintenance. It would be down to me to call and arrange my scheduled maintenance.
• At sheridan lifts i also got my own apprentice who would work closely with me and whom i would train while he was undergoing his apprenticeship.
• I would work as a part of a 1 in 4 callout team, that would cover lift breakdowns 24/7 all over the north of england. we would also attend events and football games as on call engineers to fix and rescue passengers who would get stuck in the lift while attending the events/ football.
• minor repairs that i would undertake on a day to day basis would be, replacing COP and LOP push buttons, safety edges, door aircords, small electrical components in the control panel and alignment of doors and locks.
• Major repairs that i would take part and assist the repair teams with would be reroping lifts, changing out control panels, rerunning trailing cables changing motors/ gearboxes and replacing pulleys.

• Upgraded outdated elevator systems with modern components, enhancing performance and reliability.
• Read electrical and mechanical diagrams to resolve issues with the elevator.
• complete major and minor repairs on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• attended out of hours call outs - i was part of a 1 in 4 week on call roster.
• I have gained large amounts of experience all types of elevators while working on all kinds of job site. i maintained and repaired lifts on various different sites from hospitals to hotels.

• Attended oldham training centre 1 day a week for my apprenticeship.
• Assisted the lead elevator technician on the maintenance, repair and installation of elevators.
• We would attend scheduled maintenance throughout the day and attend emergency call outs as and when needed.
• Repairs would vary from a simple repair of a call button in the elevator to a full rerope and pulley change.
• i would take notes and undergo task with supervision of the lead engineer.

• Pre-assembled containers to be easily selected by packing associates.
