  • Mayor of Arctic Bay, 2005/2006, There are seven hamlet councillors, senior administrative, finance, lands and recreation departments and municipal services that I worked with to ensure operations and daily services are delivered. I chaired meetings, signed official papers, worked with Administration and ensures Council’s work was done. Represented the community to other levels of government, hosts special visitors, attends meetings outside the community and speaks on behalf of Council.
  • Youth Representative for Qikiqtani Inuit Association Board of Directors, 2009/2010, I represented youth across the Qikiqtani Region at the board of directors level regarding youth issues, goals and visions. As a youth representative, I provided advice and recommendations to the Board of Directors on social and cultural issues and programming needs in the Qikiqtani Region.
