Summary

With years of lived experience growing up on the streets of Vancouver amongst people struggling with mental illness and drug addiction I was able to conquer demons on my own. It took hitting the bottom before I realized that i wanted more for myself and for my future. Drug court helped me understand my behaviors and now when I see myself heading down the wrong path I am able to step back and think about what effect my choices have long term.

I may not have been through the courses and been certified for the role of peer support but I am well known all through Vancouver and I want to use my voice to make a difference.
