  • My name is Cydia Laws, I am a highly motivated and dedicated individual with the ability to communicate effectively via oral or written. I am currently attending Niagara College Welland Campus, completing my level one. Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which include oil change, tire rotation, tire repair, tire balancing, vehicle alignment, struct change just to name a few. Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations. I love to work independently but I also have the capability of working with my peers cooperatively towards a
    common goal.

Drywall Taping

Pell Insulation Drywall
06.2016 - Current
  • Cut out and pre fill bad drywall areas. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency for desired application.
  • Cut and Install metal corner beads or paper beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Cover joints with paper tape, apply level and smooth coats of plaster using knives, hawk and trowels.
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Wear stilts to reach higher to reach areas
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
  • Sand for desired finishing
