The Objective of this project is to create a Data Lake by reading the data from AS400, Files, Hadoop and perform transformations in Datastage and load into Hadoop Distributed File System through Hive as per requirements. EDL stored the data as-is all structured and unstructured data, without having to first structure and run different types of analytics from dashboards and visualizations to big data processing, real-time analytics to guide better decisions.

☆ Responsible for creating Technical Design documents, Process flow description, Source to Target transformation mapping logic. Involve in Design, develop complex ETL codes, Unix Scripts based on the business requirements.

☆ Experience in designing and finalizing ETL/Data flow frameworks for Data warehousing, Data Integration, Data migration, EDL projects.

☆ Participate in maintain high and low-level design documents, client interaction, requirement gathering, preparing estimations, data analysis, reviewing codes and resolving defects.

EDW is a data warehouse project which performs integration of information from various vendors regarding various products and transactions done by the customers. Also, it serves as a central hub for various analytical and business solutions for senior management.
• EDW deals with information pertaining to domestic market (Canada only). There are around 20,000 jobs streamlined into 600 job streams which run Daily, Weekly,Monthly and on Abhor basis.

Client: Amadeus

Description:

Amadeus is a major IT provider for global travel and tourism. It is a Global Distribution System (GDS) that enables transactions between travel industry service providers, mainly airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and travel agencies.

The assignments in Amadeus follow Agile methodology. They involve implementing Data marts using Datastage as ETL tool and generating QVD's and Visualization using Qlik Sense. Source to the Data Warehouse includes SAP, Oracle, MS SQL server, MySQL and various flat files. We implemented Star-Schema Data Warehouse model where many Dimensions and Fact tables were build and were used later for reporting purpose using SAP BO reporting tool and were also used for visualization using Qlik Sense tool.

Responsibilities:
