- Maintain high level safety and housekeeping when handling chemicals, sampling, and analyzing samples.

- Oral and written communication to communicate results in a timely manner.

- Communicate with shifters, operators, supervisors and coworkers analytical data and results.

- Evaluate and troubleshoot instrument issues, making conclusions and decisions based on the information gathered communicating findings to supervision.

- Analyzing, visually inspecting, ensuring specifications are met during production, loading and prior to releasing railcars, bagged product and trucks.

- Demonstrate cooperative team skills in the laboratory and other departments.

- Comply with analytical quality assurance program, chemical, equipment and instrument maintenance programs.

- Participate and attend shift starts, safety meetings and audits.
