•Working independently, within a large team and as a specialized group to meet difficult deadlines •Creating and ensuring compliance to ITPs, quality plans, contractor QCM’s and client specifications •Maintain and update welding log, welder orientation, qualifiers and document/verify welding certifications •Material receiving, verification to client and code requirements, MTR document control •Visual weld inspection, weld mapping, dimensional tolerances, threaded and flange verification •Monitor and coordinate third party contractors - NDE, plug testing, heat treatment, pipe coating •Track and compile client or construction driven RFI’s and NCR’s •Witness installation of PRVs, PSVs, and orifice plates while completing required documents to client specifications •Perform quality assurance role over subcontractors completing fabrication or sub services •Witness hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, re-rate testing, leak testing •Closure weld monitoring as per AB519 •Client turnover, AB83, perform walk down or punch list •Attend and participate in quality audits and provide QC technical support to supervision and craft

•B-Pressure F3/F4, F6/F5, F6 Max •Fabrication shops, oil sand mining, heavy duty equipment repair, refinery turn arounds, projects and maintenance •GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and GMAW •Pipefitting, threading, soldering, bolt-up, torqueing, rigging, hydro-testing and cutting •Oxy fuel cutting, plasma cutting and carbon arc gouging
