-Joined Buffalo Inspection as a sub-contractor in June 2008 and in October 2024 became a corporate employee.
-Worked the majority of my sub-contractor years with fabricators "Alstar Group" based out of Fox Creek who then moved to Hinton in 2010. This is where I had a custom built 10'x40' office trailer with an automatic processing darkroom.
-With office trailer I overseen and delegated a full crew of employees to perform all tasks needed to achieve the high pace and high production that was demanded on a daily basis. 3 shooters outside in the bunkers getting the daily quota done, 2 darkroom operators to create flashes/develop film and load cassettes as needed. 1 office worker to handle all invoices and reporting. As all workers performed their duties, I was there to interpret film and provide leadership and guidance to ensure a highly productive operation.
-Alstar moved to Calgary in 2020 and I followed them down there to provide them with the same professional operation with office trailer until October 2024 in which I decided to I no longer wanted work with Alstar and decided to become a corporate employee with Buffalo.
-Started my NDE career as a trainee in July of 1999 and later obtained CEDO certification in September of 2001. During that time, the duties and responsibilities were to perform and follow all regulatory expectations set out by the CNSC to ensure the exposure device was in proper working condition.
-Daily FLRAs were to be filled out each day for all crew members to follow for all precautionary/safety purposes.
-Preparation of each worksite was to be established to all CNSC regulations with warning signs @ or below 2.5mR/hr and barrier ropes @ or below 10mR/hr, along with communication with Non-NEWs about the NDE inspections to be performed to assure awareness and safety was top priority with all parties on-site.
-Became a certified RT2 in March 2008 and unfortunately left Oshanek in May of 2008.
