I have been in sport my whole life which I think is really important because sports lets you build so many traits for example playing team sports build you team work and communication you learn how to wok with people you have never met and you meet so many new people.
I volunteer at a shelter called Souls Harbour. I volunteer there once a month preparing meals for people that are homeless.
Over the summer I have also been volunteering for a program called Paddle All. Paddle All is used to introduce the sport of paddling to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They have a chance to go paddle with a experienced paddler with them beside them.
I have three awards from my paddling club two of them being top kayaker and the other one being coaches award. The top kayaker is the person who has improved and has shown the best work in a k1. The coaches award is someone who has a positive attitude and is always willing to work hard.
