• Develop strong relationships with parents, grandparents, and colleagues with regular phone calls, emails, meetings, and after-school visits to foster a supportive learning environment.

• Facilitated fun team-building activities among students, cultivating a positive atmosphere and sense of community within the camp.

Collaborate with the Reading Recovery teacher to accelerate reading and writing skills.

• Support student learning in small groups to encourage participation and engagement.
• Coordinate cultural celebrations and events with the principal, SENCOTEN teacher, EAs, teachers, social workers, and families.
• Work alongside Inclusion Support Teacher and families to implement Individual Education Plans and specialized tools tailored to their needs.
• Create day, week, and year plans that correlate with the Core Competencies and cultural objectives.

• Connect with students to provide a positive learning environment while following school norms.
• Follow provided day plan and collaborate with paraprofessional staff to maintain regular classroom routines.
• Adaptable to changes and flexible when priorities arise in the day.
• Ability to calmly redirect students exhibiting behavioral challenges in a professionally and supportive manner
