- Participate in the neurological determination of death case, helping RNs send the patient out of the ICU/CCU in a timely manner with the Porter Team.
- By handling and transporting blood components and products, ensure the labels and components are accurate, confirm patient identity matches, deliver on time, and handle with care as ordered by RNs.
- By transferring and repositioning, it utilizes proper body mechanics and techniques with the help of a transfer belt, ceiling lift, mechanical lift, and Airtap for boosting the resident with the assistance of the RN.
