Web Applications migration to AWS – Wellington Altus, Migration of .net core internal web applications hosted on Azure VM in AWS and the corresponding web application dbs are migrated from Azure SQL to AWS Postgres DB., Digital and Data team Manager, There are a total of 18 internal web applications all developed in .net core with SQL as database – all these applications along with DBs are now to be migrated to be hosted on AWS. Worked with DB Migration team to prioritize the order in which DBs will have to be migrated. Helped DB Migration team with some of the blockers and making sure the schema objects are being defined to meet SQL structure, making sure data integrity is in place etc. Worked on POC to deploy .net web application on AWS as an elastic bean stalk application – this poc involved updating packagers in .net solutions to be able to connect to postgresql database, identifying configurations needed for elastic beanstalk and deploying applications as AWS Elastic Beanstalk Applications. Worked with Infra team to get the certificates created and adding necessary redirect URLs in Azure app registrations for AD login to work.
