  • Assisted with planning and logistics for fieldwork in collaboration with other agencies/groups, eg. Indigenous partners, Government of the Northwest Territories, etc.
  • Performed extensive data entry and management tasks working with microsoft application and other data entry software.
  • Preparation, maintenance, deployment, and retrieval of autonomous recording units (ARUs) to record wildlife vocalizations.
  • Fieldwork along the Mackenzie Valley and Tłı̨chǫ winter roads around ARUs, wildlife cameras, and other sensors.
  • Vegetation assessments at survey locations
  • Working and camping in remote environments for extended periods of time, and in inclement conditions including variable weather and wildlife encounters.
