I am passionate about accounting because it empowers me to provide crucial information that helps others excel in their jobs. My experience at Bath and Body Works taught me the importance of working within a system where everyone's contributions matter. I thrived on handling cash, tallying numbers, and handing over the records to accountants, which fueled my desire to understand the “back half” of a company where the real numbers lie.

My goal is to pursue my CPA and eventually my CFA, focusing on managerial accounting. I'm particularly drawn to setting prices, making decisions that save money for both the company and its customers, and driving financial efficiency. My experience in sales has honed my ability to communicate effectively, explain numbers, and deliver confident pitches, all of which I bring into my academic life. I'm honest, loyal, and always open to constructive feedback, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the corporate world. I'm excited about the structure of a 9-5 job, where I can contribute to financial success and make a real impact.

• As a Senior Ambassador with the CESL program at my university, I am dedicated to volunteering for multiple charities in Regina, reflecting my strong commitment to positively impacting my community. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication and organizational skills, enhancing my ability to collaborate with diverse groups to achieve common goals.

• I was fortunate to be promoted to manager at Bath and Body Works shortly after my probation period, which I attribute to my diligence and effective communication skills. In this role, I focused on supporting my team, enhancing sales performance, and creating a collaborative environment that encouraged everyone to contribute their best.

• I believe in setting personal goals as a reflection of my dedication. Five years ago, I made a significant change in my life by committing to a fitness routine and taking control of my health. I transformed from someone who struggled with punctuality and self-care into a more disciplined and proactive individual. This journey not only improved my physical well-being but also instilled a greater sense of responsibility and commitment in all areas of my life.

I have a passion for volleyball, which has been a key part of my athletic journey. During my fitness transformation, I began applying my newfound athleticism to various sports, including table tennis, marathons, and swimming. Each of these activities has not only enhanced my physical fitness but also taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and strategy. I also enjoy playing chess, which complements my athletic pursuits by sharpening my critical thinking and decision-making skills. Engaging in these diverse sports has enriched my life and reinforced my commitment to health and personal growth.
