My goal is to be a friendly and energetic SOL. I want to motivate the incoming freshmen to enjoy and make the most of their college life. I want to give the incoming freshmen a friend that they can look up to and ask questions! I'm dedicated to supporting them in emotional, social, and academic situations. I desire to give the incoming freshmen the same warm welcome I received when I entered campus last fall!
I worked in Fresno Unified School District grow their own project, which took high-school students in and about the 11th grade to local elementary schools to assist teachers and other educational staff members. I was in the class in my junior and senior years of high school. In my senior year, my teacher let me aid and assist not only a new teacher at my local elementary school but as well as my peers. They trusted me to communicate information and facilitate activities when they were out for the day. I've learned a lot of leadership and communication skills along with problem-solving skills.
This was also through Fresno Unified. I would go after school to my local elementary school and assist a wide age range of children.
1st place winner in a district-wide competition where the students who participated in the program were the teachers in a class room for a week.
