  • Designed a formal math unit on linear measurement, which spanned about one month and consisted of multiple mini lesson series that focused on mathematical concepts such as measuring in centimeters, meters and kilometers, and calculating area and perimeter of polygons.
  • Implemented a variety of math tools and platforms to teach the linear measurement unit, including but not limited to, Google Classroom, JUMP Math, Google Slides, Math Playground, PBS Kids, Nelson Textbook, manipulatives, and measurement tools (i.e. ruler and meter stick), YouTube videos and math learning centres.
  • Helped to contribute to Individual Education Plan profiles with the support of the ISSP support team and read through student IEPs.
