• Planning a 8-10 day trip taking currents, weather, tides, wildlife viewing, and guest experience into account
• Communication and organization with passengers and crew regarding daily excursions
• Operated and maintained onboard machinery, tenders, and cranes
• Drove tenders safely around wildlife, and in and near rocky coastal shorelines.
• Bartending, serving, cleaning, and deck washing at a high-end level

Participated in the Marine Debris Removal Initiative during the 2020/21 pandemic

• Maintained clean and comfortable environments of cabins, staff accommodation and resort amenities
• Managerial duties: responsible for up to 5 staff, inventory, high end guest requests and celebrations.
• Set up for various guests experiences : sauna dock, bear viewing, romantic dock meals

• Daily maintenance of lodge and grounds
• Kitchen service: assistance with plating, serving and dish washing
• Town runs for drop-off and pick-up of lodge supplies.

• Guest reservations and tour check-ins
• Local knowledge: weather, attractions, wildlife interpretation
• Passionate about environmental stewardship and eco-tourism.

• Checking in and reservations for domestic and international float plane company
• Gate operations, flight cancellations, multi-task in a high paced environment
• Freight incoming, outgoing and dangerous goods.

• Trail and hut maintenance: grooming, signage, hazard removal
• Liaise with public nordic skiers, fat bikers, and snowshoers for trial direction/assistance/ticketing
• Operation of snowmobile and quad with various trail grooming attachments.

• Certified Kayak/SUP guide & Instructor; school trips, basic and advanced kayak lessons, tours along various locations on the Sunshine Coast
• Reservations and drops for rental gear: SUP, kayaks, skis, snowshoes
• Retail product knowledge and customer service.

• Reservations for transient and annual moorage for summer season: assisted with tie and hook up, provided information of the area
• Reservations for Eco-Cruising and Butchart Gardens shuttle
• Kayak and SUP rental reservations.
