  • Directed a division of Technical Planning and Engineering in an aircraft maintenance facility of a major airline company; formulated maintenance policies; planned, directed and coordinated aircraft maintenance schedules; developed, approved and managed engineering change orders, repairs and major projects; administered divisional affairs.
  • Reviewed and/or approved 200+ Engineering orders or repairs for modifications on aircraft structures, systems, avionics, engines, interior modifications and other components, either developed in-house or based on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service bulletins
  • Actively participated in three IATA meetings in Montreal, Canada, and Geneva
  • Twice acted as company resident rep in Washington State, USA, 3 to 4 months each time, at Boeing aircraft factory during the B727 and 767 aircraft fleet purchase. Cost estimate CAD 20 and 50 million per aircraft respectively
  • Developed, reviewed and/or approved engineering aircraft structural maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), using classical structural analysis techniques and damage tolerant design analysis
  • Coordinated and managed 10+ major engineering projects, related to structures, materials, fasteners, fabrication processes and flammability
  • Acted as a liaison with customer representatives on major aircraft maintenances and service bulletin compliances
  • Participated in accident and incident investigations and prepared necessary reports with recommendations for corrective actions
