Conducting Immigration interviews regarding any foreign national seeking entry to Canada. Processing a full Refugee Exam.

• Writing admissibility reports against a foreign national who is inadmissible under IRPA section 34-42
• Writing grounds to support Immigration Detention under IRPA/IRPR
• Execution of any immigration warrant
• Performing a baggage exam on any goods arriving to Canada under the Customs Act
• Ensuring any customs violations are actioned appropriately with respect to different mitigating and aggravating factors
• Using different systems such as ICS, ICES, ORS, CPIC, GCMS, NCMS and PQT on a daily basis to support my daily duties
• Conducting any Arrest or Detention with regards to an outstanding warrant. Doing a personal search under section 98 of the Customs Act.

• Investigate passengers using risk assessment tactics such as probing questions, indicators and document verification
• Exercise tolerance and judgement especially when dealing with difficult and uncooperative individuals
• Used multiple software systems (ICES, GCMS, and ICS) to access passenger information, such as travel history, previous referrals, declarations and visas
• Experience with using GCMS to issue permits (Student, Work and Visitor Records), to process Permanent Residence landing papers and to update any information needed

• Created orders, documented special requests, and followed up with kitchen personnel to foster top-quality service and minimise complaints
• Kept updated knowledge of menu and promotions, recommending specific items according to preferences and food allergies
• Worked with the POS system to place orders, manage bills and handle complimentary items for dissatisfied customers
• Collaborated with the kitchen team to support order preparation, manage efficient deliveries, and minimise customer service issues by verifying meals
